Compassworks Guided Walks on and around Dartmoor are designed to suit your interests and ability.
Dartmoor is famous for its majestic granite Tors and its outstanding natural beauty. It is also home to the largest collection of Bronze Age remains in Europe, including settlements, ceremonial monuments, and burial sites. Man has continued to leave its mark on the landscape and there are many examples of the Moors industrial past with numerous granite quarries and tin mines. Or you can just admire the views and wildlife from the top of different Tors. Our extensive knowledge of local tracks and paths combined with history and folklore, will give you an enjoyable and immersive experience of Dartmoor history and life.
Full or half day walks are available and start from a variety of locations around the Moor.
Alternatively, bespoke walks can be arranged to explore a particular area, study a certain subject, start from a specific location or from your accommodation.
Prices include your own guide, knowledgeable about Dartmoor, who is also a qualified in Mountain/Moorland Leader, holds an Outdoor First Aid qualification and is DBS screened.
Duration:
Full day - 1000 – 1600 approximately.
Half day - 0930 – 1230 or 1330 to 1630 approximately.

£100.00 for groups of 1 to 3 persons
£130.00 for groups of 4 to 6 persons
Half Day Walks -
£60.00 for groups of 1 to 3 persons
£75.00 for groups of 4 to 6 persons

One child aged under 12 can walk for free with each accompanying adult. All children are always the responsibility of the adult.
