Compassworks has been operating on Dartmoor since 2004, initially specialising in the provision of map reading and land navigation skills and more recently first aid.
Compassworks is owned and run by Martin Williams. Martin has many years experience of navigating in the UK, leading groups and training young people undertaking Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions and participating in the Ten Tors challenge.
Martin, a former Royal Marines Bugler, is a qualified Mountain Leader, member of the Mountain Training Association, the British Mountaineering Council and a former member of Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team.
Martin holds a range of First Aid qualifications and is also a qualified First Aid Instructor, enabling Compassworks to deliver a range of First Aid courses and accredited qualifications.
