COMPASSWORKS Courses are split into 2 categories :-

• Land Navigation Courses

• Outdoor Development Courses.

Land Navigation

The majority of COMPASSWORKS courses are primarily designed to cater for individuals, or small groups, who wish to learn or develop land navigation skills.

Our land navigation courses are broadly divided into 2 types:-

• Traditional – primarily using traditional land navigational equipment and techniques.

e.g. using map and compass.

• Topical – primarily using topical land navigational equipment and techniques.

e.g. using Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and/or navigational software packages.

On some of our courses, and where appropriate, we will ‘blend’ the 2 types of technology so that participants gain maximum benefit from the equipment available.

Outdoor Development

COMPASSWORKS also has the ability to design and deliver events aimed at improving the performance of individuals and teams; learning by experience by use of practical outdoor exercises.

We also design and deliver events for groups of friends or families.
