On to the top of Steeperton tor! Here you will be able to take in some of the best
views of the north moor-
After crossing the river in Steeperton Gorge, our next stop is Oke tor, a massive pile of granite rocks and boulders at 466m above sea level.
Heading almost due north, you will follow the “Belstone Range” of tors back towards the village, but not before stepping over the famous “Irishman’s Wall”
A walk that you will want to repeat again and again!
With the unmistakable shape of Steeperton tor ahead, you will soon climb gradually up to Hound tor via the ancient settlements at White Hill and the stone circle near Little Hound tor.
